A Royal Navy helicopter crashed during training in Sourton Down, Devon, killing three crew members from RNAS Yeovilton. It experienced mechanical issues and then crashed early that morning. This incident prompted a major rescue operation and closed off several roads. Locals heard weird noises and spotted the chopper flying low. After the crash, King Charles, the Prince and Princess of Wales, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, and top naval officials expressed their sympathy to the affected families.
